INTRODUCTION

I’m not a genius; I'm just a hard worker. In fact, by the second grade I couldn’t read and needed to take special classes. The only reason I got good grades later on was because I made a choice to take control of my life. My good grades gave me the security that no matter what happened, I would be able to take care of myself.

I didn’t give a crap about college. I just needed a degree. Don’t get me wrong; the University of California, Berkeley is an amazing school, but I had a plan for life after college and I didn’t want to accumulate a massive amount of debt.

That’s why I wanted to graduate from UC Berkeley so quickly. Instead of wasting my time, I got to work, I worked hard and I worked smart. I said that if I wanted to get a real life, I needed to get the hell out of there. Most teachers told me it would be impossible to finish in two years, but I beat the public school system. This is how I did it…
